hi, i saw you did a post when you say a tumblr name then started following you..how do you do that when you have the link of the name ? It would help me alot thanks.
When it comes up on your blog that someone follows you (like if it said “iammissreina started following you”) highlight it and copy it (ctrl+C).
Then, make a new text post and paste it (ctrl+V) into the text box. Then add whatever you want after it. Tumblr should preserve all the links but if it doesn’t you can do it the manual way of highlighting the username and linking it (the chain next to the photo button above the text entry area).
It’s pretty much the same as when someone replies to your posts, you copy that and paste it into a text post. :)
